An autopsy will be conducted on Wendell the Wallaby to determine how and when he died.
The two-week search for the three-year-old wallaby ended outside of Kemptville on Thursday.
Saunders Country Critters says the marsupial was found in a field about 15 kilometres from his home.
Wendell escaped from his pen on October 28th after a storm knocked down fencing at the farm.
There had been several reports of a wallaby spotted across eastern Ontario over the last two weeks..
