Ottawa police say alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in a collision between an S.T.O bus and a cyclist on Sussex Drive yesterday.
The 34 year old female cyclist died of her injuries at the scene of the crash which happened just before 5pm.
Ottawa police are now asking for any witnesses to come forward.
Police say they believe the woman started out cycling northbound on the bike path.
The bike path comes to an end and merges with the bus lane where she was struck in front of the Lester B. Pearson building.
If you witnessed the crash or have any information please contact the Ottawa Police Collision Investigation Unit.
