There is still no sign of Claude Legaré.
He allegedly stabbed two people late Friday afternoon in front of a Strandherd Drive pharmacy.
A 47-year-old woman is being treated for serious wounds.
The 21-year-old Shoppers Drug Mart employee has been released from a local hospital.
He suffered minor injuries.
Officers are not publicly discussing potential motives.
Relatives of the injured Canada Post worker suggest the bloody incident is linked to a failed relationship.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Legaré.
Charges include assault with a weapon, attempted kidnapping and attempted murder.
He's described as white, standing 5' 7", with a heavier frame, and a scruffy beard.
The wanted individual was wearing a black or dark blue hooded sweatshirt, a dark baseball hat, light grey track pants and dark winter shoes.
Legaré had been released on bail due to previous criminal charges laid by the OPP's Kemptville detachment.
Ontario's Special Investigations Unit is also probing the Barrhaven case.
Around 3:45 p.m., a responding cruiser apparently struck a pedestrian.
The 43-year-old man was seriously hurt.
SIU detectives have offered no comment on their case.
At this time, all names are being withheld.
