Serious Injuries Linked to Crash Outside Arnprior

Ontario Provincial Police are withholding the name of the individual hurt during an early-morning collision.
Emergency crews pulled the person from a car on Highway 17 near Scheel Road.
They listed the injuries as serious.
Ottawa doctors are providing care for the victim.
The tractor trailer driver was apparently unscathed.
The cause of the Arnprior-area crash remains unknown.
OPP detectives say the vehicles were heading in opposite directions prior to the incident.
