Canada Now Avian Flu Free

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is declaring Canada avian flu free.
The agency says Canada has regained its "disease-free status" under animal health guidelines set out by the World Health Organization.
Tens of thousands of poultry were culled in BC's Fraser Valley earlier this year as officials tried to contain an outbreak of the virus.
