The Federal debt will hit $500-billion on Sunday.
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation says each Canadian owes $14,857 as the debt continues to climb.
Kevin Gaudet tells CFRA's Afternoon Edition with Rob Snow residents can visit the website "debtclock.ca" to see how much the debt is increasing each day.
Gaudet says the Federal Government will add $170 billion to the deficit over the next five years through budget deficits.
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation is hoping its debt clock will prompt officials to turn off the Federal spending taps.
