It was a smooth touchdown for space shuttle Atlantis, which returned to Earth on Friday after a successful mission to the International Space Station.
NASA says there were perfect conditions for the landing: bright sunlight with no clouds in sight.
It was an especially memorable trip for Astronaut Randolph Bresnik. He’s waiting to meet his new daughter, Abigail. She was born on Saturday night, right after her father took his first walk in space.
And Astronaut Nicole Stott was thrilled to be back home after living at the space station for the past three months.
