Ontario won't End Driving Examiners' Strike

The Ontario Government has no plans to hit the brakes on the strike by Ontario’s driving test examiners.
Labour Minister Peter Fonseca says he will not force an end to the strike at DriveTest centres, adding the most productive solution is a negotiated settlement with the help of government mediators.
Striking driving examiners rejected the employer’s latest contract offer earlier this month.
The strike affects 93 full-time and part-time DriveTest sites.
