  • Carleton University investigating stunt driving video

A YouTube video that showed a motorcycle speeding through tunnels at Carleton University has been getting a lot of attention.

But, perhaps unfortunately for the uploader, the attention is from police, and Carleton Campus security.

The six-and-a-half minute video titled "Riding Carleton Tunnels DRZ400" shows a motorcycle cruising through narrow tunnels. At times the bike's speed reaches over 80kmph.

Carleton Campus security says they're investigating the incident. They say no one saw or reported the bike racing through the tunnels. They only became aware of it after the video surfaced online.

Ottawa Police are aware of the video and are considering an investigation, according to CTV Ottawa.

Charges of mischief and dangerous driving might be applied if an investigation goes forward.

The video has since been removed from YouTube by the user. It was uploaded Saturday, July 19th, and was viewed 6,239 times before it was taken down.
