Rod Bryden is out at Plasco.
He tells CFRA he will no longer be the executive chair of the board of directors as of tomorrow.
Bryden was replaced as CEO by Ray Floyd last November.
Plasco has until the end of this year to find the financing to build a $200-million plant.
At stake is a $9-million-a-year deal with Ottawa to convert more than 100-thousand tonnes of garbage into energy annually.
While Bryden doesn't want to comment on how that might work out, he says he's confident the city will be pleased with its relationship with Plasco going forward.
