Cornwall Police tactical team works to arrest assault suspect

Cornwall Police have made an arrest after cordoning off part of the city today.

44-year-old Edward Hall is charged with aggravated assault, making death threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Police say a 22-year-old man may have been slashed with a knife early this morning.

Officers secured the area around a Prince Albert Street address until the arrest was made late this afternoon.

The possible slashing victim was treated at hospital then released.
