Continuing the conversation about sexual and gender-based violence the father of Rehtaeh Parsons will be speaking tonight in Ottawa.
The Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women is hosting the event which they say will be interactive and open to questions and discussion.
Rehtaeh Parsons was taken off of life support after a suicide attempt that followed vicious bullying and cyberbullying after she was allegedly sexually assaulted and photographs of the alleged rape were made public.
Since her death Canning has been advocating to end sexual violence and other forms of harrassment and cyberbullying.
The talk takes place from 7-9p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4 at City Hall.
