Brockville isn't jumping on board with the movement of cities raising the rainbow flag during the Sochi games.
A motion to discuss displaying the LGBT pride colours at city hall brought forth at a Tuesday council meeting wasn't approved.
It needed unanimous support since it wasn't on the agenda.
Councillor Jeff Earle - who voted against it - says the Olympics should be about the athletes, not political rights.
Councillor Leigh Bursey, who brought forth the motion, says it's discouraging that Brockville isn't joining other Canadian cities flying the rainbow flag.
