Ontario Finance Minister Charles Sousa blasted Tuesday's federal budget, saying it short-changed the people of Ontario.
He said he is disappointed the budget didn't offer more for Ontarians.
"We expected a forward looking vision," said Sousa. "We expected a real partner. We expected to see long-term investments in our economic future. Instead they're playing political games and putting our economic recovery in the cross-hairs."
Sousa said the Harper government ripped off Ontario through a $641-million dollar cut in equalization payments, but that the minority Liberals will do anything they can to get the province out of the red.
