Metrolinx has finally settled its bill with the city of Ottawa.
The provincial agency paid out $10 million because of the problem-plagued Presto launch that stalled the project for months.
At a transit commission meeting on Wednesday morning, city officials explained that the highest amount of $5.6 million was for costs directly related to the delay, including revenue OC Transpo missed out on because it didn't raise fares until all of the bugs were worked out.
Another $3 million was a reimbursement of sorts - after bugs crippled the system, Metrolinx agreed to subtract that from the price tag.
Metrolinx paid some of its bill last April and fully squared its debt in December.
