Toronto's Sunnybrook hospital used an unconventional way of raising awareness about heart disease Thyr.
They live tweeted the surgery of a 57-year-old man named Lou.
But Vincent Lamontagne with the Ottawa Heart Institute told CFRA they're not interesting in following suit.
"We don't bring social media into the O.R.," he said. "Our utmost priority is the patient, the procedure itself, the work done by our doctors, so we don't engage in per say, what Sunnybrook is doing."
Sunnybrook posted pictures, videos and answered questions from Twitter users during the four-hour surgery.
