Ottawa Police say shots were fired at west-end residence early Sunday

Ottawa Police say they were called out to a residence on Dobbin Lane in the west end of the city around 6 a.m. Sunday because of reports that shots had been fired.

When they arrived they didn't find that anyone had been hurt but they did find a number of spent shell casings and one bullet hole in the residence.

The Guns and Gangs Section is heading up the investigation.
