A Canada-wide warrant is now out for the arrest of Philippe Steele-Morin.
The 30-year-old Gatineau man is wanted for second-degree murder in the death of Montreal woman Tricia Boisvert.
Her body was found in a wooded area near Quyon on January 23rd. She had been abducted from her home in Montreal's Little Burgundy area days before.
Steele-Morin is described as 5'7", 161 lbs with short brown hair and blue eyes. He also has several tattoos, including a dragon on his right upper arm and an eagle on his left arm.
Steele-Morin has a long criminal record and may be in the Ottawa or Gatineau area.
On January 27th, Ottawa Police believed they had cornered Steele-Morin in an Arlington Street home, but he was not found when members of the tactical team entered the Centretown residence.
