Police are looking for a man in his mid-to-late twenties after an ATM robbery outside the Rideau Centre.

On Valentine's Day around 5:45 in the afternoon a 74-year-old man was struggling with the ATM when he asked for help.

The suspect came into the vestibule and helped the man complete his withdrawal before taking the cash for himself, pushing the man to the ground and running away.

Police say the suspect is white and tall and was wearing a dark jacket with a logo on the front with a Yukon style hat.
