Police seek witnesses to serious assault

Ottawa Police are seeking witnesses of an attack Tuesday night that left a 53-year-old man in hospital.

Police say the assault took place around 10:20 outside Buster's Bar & Grill at the Lincoln Fields shopping complex.

The victim had serious injuries when he was transported to hospital. The injuries are no longer considered life threatening.

West District Investigators are also asking for the public's help in identifying two men.

The first is the suspect, who is described as being around 30 years old with light brown skin, brown hair, a goatee and a moustache.

He was wearing a black coat with a hood, a white sweater and a black Calgary Flames cap.

The second man was seen fleeing the scene on foot with the suspect. He's described as being around 60 years old with light brown skin and hair.
