Suspect arrested from 2012 shooting

A 28-year-old Ottawa man has been arrested in connection with a shooting near the Lees Campus of the University of Ottawa.

Nicholas Kim is accused of opening fire in the area of Lees and Robinson in July of 2012, injuring a male victim.

He faces eight charges total, including firing a gun with intention to wound and endanger life.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Kim is still in custody and will be in court tomorrow.
