Carleton Ravens beat uOttawa to win CIS Championship

It was the ultimate Ottawa show-down. Thousands of fans packed the Canadian Tire Centre Sunday afternoon to see the Carleton University Ravens take on the uOttawa Gee-Gees in the men's University basketball championships.

The Ravens took the CIS Championship win with a 79-67 score at the final buzzer.

This felt more like a re-match of last week's Wilson Cup Final, where the Ottawa Gee Gee's beat the defending O.U.A. champs, the Carleton Ravens.

This was the Gee Gees first ever trip to the national title game. A whole other story for the Ravens, who've won the honour three years in a row. It's a CIS record 10th national championship for Carleton.
