Max Keeping facing untreatable Cancer

A local broadcasting legend's battle with cancer is not over.

Speaking on CTV Ottawa News at 6, former CTV Ottawa news anchor Max Keeping says his cancer has returned. After his 2012 surgery for colorectal cancer, in which he had four organs removed, he says the cancer has metastasized into his lungs, and is untreatable.

But Keeping says he has no plans to stop living his life, saying he has four relays for life, three events for the Max Keeping Foundation, two events for CHEO, and many others to attend and champion.

Keeping says the underlying message is to be screened for all forms cancer.
