The train warning lights at the Fallowfield level rail crossing are malfunctioning again - police say the lights are flashing but the arms aren't coming down.
They're directing traffic to keep people safe while VIA Rail engineers investigate and work to shut down the lights temporarily.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area. They are trying to keep traffic flowing by keeping traffic lights green unless transitway buses need to cross.
The problem does not appear to be affecting the lights where the transitway crosses the rail line.
