CTV Ottawa News has learned the Provincial government is expected to announce a $25 million deal with the Rideau Carleton Raceway that would see 89 annual race days.
The deal would inject $5 million a year into the Raceway for five years.
In 2012, the McGuinty government ended the revenue-sharing program between slots and race tracks in Ontario.
This new funding announcement is expected to come next week.
