The Ontario Federation of Agriculture is hosting an open meeting to discuss the future of the Kemptville campus of the University of Guelph.
The OFA says the goal of the meeting is to begin a process to find solutions to preserve the College as a centre of education for the agri-food industry in Eastern Ontario.
This after Progressive Conservative MPPs Steve Clark and Lisa MacLeod asked Premier Kathleen Wynne to put a two-year moratorium on the closure of the University of Guelph's Kemptville and Alfred agricultural campuses.
The meeting takes place at the W.B. George Centre on the Kemptville College campus at 10:30 this morning.
The public is welcome to attend.
