Ottawa 67s take a devastating loss in final game of season

It was a rough afternoon for the Ottawa 67's. They missed the post-season boat for the second straight year after getting hammered by North Bay 12-1. The game was out of reach after 40 minutes of play, as the Battalion scored half of their goals in a one-sided 2nd Period.

Despite a bitter ending to the regular season, it's not all bad news for the barber poles. Rookie of the Year candidate Travis Konecny led the team in scoring with 70 points, and the 67's are projected to draft in the Top 5 for the second straight year.

A new chapter begins in mid-September when the team moves into their refurbished digs at TD Place.
