Father Joe LeClair will soon learn his fate.
He will be sentenced on fraud and theft charges Wednesday, facing the possibility of jail time.
The popular Catholic priest pleaded guilty in January to stealing from Blessed Sacrament Church in the Glebe.
According to Ottawa Police, more than 240-thousand dollars was misappropriated between 2006 and 2011 while another 160-thousand dollars was unaccounted for.
LeClair no longer works at Blessed Sacrament, and says he's undergoing treatment for gambling and alcohol problems.
