Algonquin, St. Lawrence College express interest in saving Kemptville agricultural college

Could the Kemptville agricultural campus be saved?

Brad Duguid the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities says both Algonquin College and St. Lawrence College in Kingston have responded to his request to seek solutions to keep the programs in Kemptville running.

Members of the North Grenville community have also created the Kemptville College Renewal Task Force to come up with ways to make the programs sustainable.

Last week the University of Guelph announced it would close their satellite campuses in Kemptville and Alfred in a bid to save money.

La Cite Collegiale and Sudbury's College Boreale have stepped forward to save Alfred.
