Controversial pop star Lady Gaga is set to headline the 20th anniversary of Ottawa Bluesfest.
More than 100 acts are set to perform during the annual festival, including the Killers, Tegan and Sara, Snoop Dog and Lady Antebellum.
There is also a solid line up of classic rockers, including Journey, Foreigner and STYX.
Bluesfest executive and programming director Mark Monahan told Madely in the Morning they want the festival to appeal to a widespread audience.
"I've been to Coachella and Bonnaroo and these are destination events where you go and camp out for the weekend," he said. "This is an urban music [festival]
. You can go down for the night after work, go and see an act and go to work the next day and go back again the next night. But it's 10 days long, so my goal is to give you a reason to go several times during that period."
Bluesfest takes place July 3rd through the 13th at Lebreton Flats.
