A 40-year-old Ottawa man is facing 12 charges in connection with three retail robberies that happened in the Carling Avenue area between January 27 and February 1 of 2014.
Ottawa Police say a suspect robbed a fast food restaurant twice, threatening to jab an employee with a needle in one of the cases, and also robbed a gas station.
There were no injuries in any of the robberies.
Robert Poulin has been charged with robbery, wearing disguises and possessing dangerous weapons.
He's due to make a second court appearance April 7.
