Flood watch for South Nation River watershed

CFRA News staff

Concerns over possible flooding along the South Nation River and its tributaries has prompted a Flood Watch from the South Nation Conservation.

They say water levels were already rising and now that warm temperatures are on the way the snow melt will increase water levels and flow speeds.

With 10-15 mm of rain on the way Monday night into Tuesday there are also fears of what the Conservation calls nuisance flooding.
