Ottawa police are asking for help tracking down a suspect in connection with a violent robbery in Nepean.

Around 11:30 p.m. on April 3, a man trying to deliver a pizza on Elmira Drive was turned away at the door. As he was making his way back to his car, police say he was approached by a man armed with a handgun.

The suspect took the driver's cell phone, some cash and the food.

He's described by Ottawa Police as a black man between 25 and 30, about 5'8" with a round face. He was wearing a dark-coloured jacked and a dark hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.
