Ottawa Valley legend passes away

Harry "Buster" Brown, an Ottawa Valley legend and 2003 inductee into the Ottawa Country Music Hall of Fame, has passed away.

Brown was the North American Step Dancing Champion three consecutive years before retiring from competition.

He performed on many major Canadian country television shows and jamborees, appearing with names like Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette and Mel Tillis.

Brown taught hundreds of students throughout the Ottawa Valley, some for 15 years or more.

He was 63.
