Ottawa woman charged in pedestrian's death

A 46-year-old woman has been charged in relation to the death of a pedestrian back in October.

The elderly man had been walking in the area of Dalecroft Crescent on Centrepointe Drive on October 28th, when he was struck by a vehicle coming out of a driveway.

The man, who was in his 60s was transferred to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Britton Knight has been charged with failing to yield while coming out of a driveway.

The charge was laid under the Highway Traffic Act.
