Two charged after Cornwall hockey game assault

Two hockey fans are facing charges after an incident at a game in Cornwall on March 29th.

Police allege two men at a playoff game between the Cornwall River Kings and Jonquiere Marquis threw items at a Jonquiere player.

He was hit in the face and required medical attention.

21-year-old Mathew Beehler of Cornwall and 33-year-old Jamie MacDougall of Long Sault are each charged with assault with a weapon, and assault causing bodily harm.
