A look at what's open and closed for Good Friday and Easter Sunday

You may want to head to the grocery store and the LCBO Thursday to plan for your weekend because, like most retail outlets, they'll be closed for Good Friday.

Banks, the Beer Store, the Rideau Centre, Bayshore Shopping Centre, the St. Laurent Centre and other malls in the city will all close their doors for the holiday and for Easter Sunday.

As well the City's service centres, provincial offences court, the Ottawa Public Library and municipal childcare services are all closed tomorrow and on Easter Monday.

Some recreation centres, pools, and arenas will be open on both Good Friday and Easter Monday but many of the registered programs are cancelled. You can head to Ottawa.ca for full details.

There will be no curbside green bin, recycling or garbage collection on Good Friday OR Easter Monday. Good Friday pick-up will happen Saturday and Easter Monday pick-up on Tuesday which will delay the rest of the week's pick-up by one day.

OC Transpo will operate on a Sunday schedule tomorrow and on Monday there will be some small reductions.
