The Salvation Army Ottawa Booth Centre is expecting to serve some 700 Easter meals to people in need this Sunday.
"These holiday meals provide people with companionship, a warm meal to celebrate with their neighbours and it's just a nice festive atmosphere for everybody to get together," spokesperson Caroline Franks told CFRA.
It's costly to feed that many people and the Salvation Army needs your help to ensure no one leaves with an empty stomach.
They still need turkey, ham, sausage, milk and juice.
If you'd like to make a donation or volunteer at the dinner, call the Booth Centre at 613-241-1573.
