Good news for the Kemptville Agricultural College could be on the way sooner rather than later.
Liberal MPP Grant Crack told CFRA he expected an announcement to save the campus to take place in the coming days.
During a stop in Embrun Thursday, Rural Affairs Minister Jeff Leal was adamant that they are working on keeping the College open.
"I can't re-write yesterday's history," said Leal. "I can't do that, but I can start re-writing a new history with regards to Alfred and Kemptville to make sure they're sustainable institutions with a long history here in Ontario."
Algonquin College and St-Lawrence College in Kingston have both been in discussions to save the campus, which the University of Guelph decided to close last month in a bid to save money.
