City of Ottawa crews remove hateful graffiti on bridge

Ottawa Police called on city crews after they discovered hateful graffiti Saturday morning.

The offensive language was spray-painted on the Champlain Bridge on Island Park Drive.

One message targeted Ottawa's black community. The other, promoted anti-Semitism.

Police are investigating the graffiti as potential hate crimes. This is the latest case in a string of hateful messages painted in public places in Ottawa west-end.
