Arson investigators with the Ottawa Police Service are looking into three overnight fires at construction sites over the past three weeks.
Two of the fires happened early Friday morning. One was at a condo development site at 500 Preston Street near Carling Avenue. Police say about $10,000 damage was done to a wooden trailer and they believe the fire was started with some type of accelerant.
Early Friday, there was also a fire at a construction site on St-Joseph Blvd. in Orleans.
In the early morning hours of March 24, firefighters responded to another fire at a condo construction site not far from the Preston Street location in Friday's fire. Damage in that case was $150-thousand.
Police say they are investigating the three fires as related.
