More work is planned for the level rail crossings in Barrhaven as VIA Rail continues to try to fix problems with the advanced warning system lights that have been taking place since January.
The work will include sperry rail testing on all crossings, changing the gate at Greenbank, work on the gates at Woodroffe and Fallowfield and testing of the monitoring systems.
Where there is a risk the lights will be triggered there will be flagmen and other staff on site to keep drivers safe.
All the work will be between 10p.m. and 5a.m. and none of the work will affect high-peak traffic periods.
