Flood warning ended for Mississippi Valley

The flood warning in the Mississippi Valley watershed area has been terminated.

The Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority says water levels and flow are decreasing steadily and while they remain high, the immediate threat of any additional flooding has passed.

Even so, residents are urged to stay away from all fast flowing water courses and to remind children about the dangers of playing on or near fast flowing water in ditches and smaller creeks.
