Level crossing worries in Barrhaven are once again front and centre after another malfunction at Fallowfield.
Ottawa Police officers were called in early Monday evening to direct traffic as the lights flashed with no barrier arms down.
They were working again by about 8:30.
It isn't confirmed at this time if the malfunction is linked to previous issues over the past several weeks.
CFRA has reached out to VIA where a spokesperson says they are gathering information and will share their findings.
Mayor Jim Watson says on Twitter that the city intends to bill VIA for the cost of sending police to the crossing.
Last week, rail company officials told city hall that the ongoing malfunctions had been caused by debris on the tracks, hydro wires and frost.
