"Creatures of Light" opens at Nature Museum

The Canadian Museum of Nature expects their new exhibit to be one of the biggest attractions in the National Capital Region this summer.

Creatures of Light: Nature's Bioluminescene has already drawn large crowds in other big cities and John Swettenham - the museum's acting vice president of experience and engagement - expects it to be no different here.

He adds the fact that Bioluminescene has big-name institutions like the American Museum of Natural History and Chicago's Field Museum attached to it will also draw museum buffs.

The exhibit opened Saturday, taking the visitor into the magical world of animals, insects, vegetation and organisms that glow.
