The 18-year-old Orleans man accused of killing his mother last month is due back before a judge by video Wednesday afternoon as the courts continue to process his first-degree murder charges.

His lawyer has said they're still waiting for what they expect to be a "voluminous" disclosure of the facts of the case from the Crown.
Ottawa Police and paramedics were called to a St. Bruno Street home two weeks ago where they found Luce Lavertu dead, apparently of a slashing wound.
After a police chase they arrested her son, Christopher Gobin, on the front lawn of a neighbour's home.
