Larry Rousseau re-elected to PSAC leader's job in National Capital Region

Delegates from the National Capital Region of the Public Service Alliance of Canada have re-elected Larry Rousseau to another three-year term as the top PSAC official in the region.

The election for the post of Regional Executive Vice President was held during the PSAC Regional Convention this weekend in Gatineau. Rousseau, who works at Statistics Canada, was first elected to that job in 2011.

After the election result was announced, he said that the coming months will be critical, as the vast majority of PSAC members in the region enter negotiations with Treasury Board and the Conservatives ramp up for the 2015 election.
