It's citizens against the city when it comes to a new condo building on Wellington West.
Many homeowners living beside an area scouted for a 12-storey condo tower in the Wellington West neighbourhood want the development.
However, the city's Planning Committee says a maximum nine-storey building is allowed in that corner at Wellington Street and Island Park Drive according to the community design plan.
The Planning Committee rejected the proposal from Mizrahi Developments. Full council will still vote on May 28th.
The developer says it will appeal the decision to the Ontario Municipal Board, if councillors vote in favour of the Planning Committee decision.
