Fire rips through apartment in Riverside Park highrise

Everyone in the ground floor of a Riverside Park highrise has been driven from their homes after a blaze erupted in an apartment this afternoon.

It happened during the four o'clock hour at 2660 Norberry Crescent.

The unit where it began in a bedroom is completely destroyed while smoke spread to other parts of the building, doing damage.

All ten floors had to be evacuated.

No injuries have been reported.
