A 66-year-old woman is in stable condition after being run over by a car in the city's east end Tuesday morning.
Paramedics were called to Montmorency Way — just off Tenth Line Road — around 10:30 a.m.
The senior had been pulling weeds in her front yard when she fell backwards just as a car was backing out of a driveway.
The vehicle ran over her chest.
She was pulled out from under the car by a neighbour who saw what happened.
When paramedics got there, the woman was conscious and alert; they say her injuries are considered minor.
